FUCHS LUBRICANTS GERMANY GmbH is the largest operating company of the globally active FUCHS Group, headquartered in Mannheim, Germany, and develops, produces and distributes high-quality lubricants and related chemical specialties for the German and international markets.
Your responsibilities:
Job purpose (tasks):
- Drive technical strategic/important customer projects globally
- Lead product trials and technical support
- Ensure that the application competence (key applications/business segments) in the organization con-tinuously increases and meets the highest standards
- Transfer knowledge into local FUCHS affiliates
- Focus on Global Business segment wind
Main responsibilities / competences:
- Prime contact regarding product and application expertise in the global application greases for wind and food in the global business segments
- Support the associated business segment managers in the profitable growth of the business segment through application know-how and technical expertise
- Drive technical strategic/important customer projects globally
- Develop proposals for new products and applications based on customer and market requirements
- Provide technical support to sales and local application engineers, incl. product recommendation and technical advice
- Compile and share knowledge related to the global application on FUCHS experience and on competition products
- Conduct technical trainings for local sales and application engineers
- Compile and contribute with application related know-how and success stories to the product infor-mation platform
- Collaborate with Product Manager for activities supporting product life cycle management, approvals and training
- Regular visits of key customers
- Strong collaboration with sales, R&D and local affiliates / divisional and central departments
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in a technical field: chemistry, chemical/mechanical/material are preferred
- Preference 10 years of experience in in key industry (e.g. chemical, lubricants, relevant global busi-ness segment)
- Excellent in spoken and written English
- Excellent project management skills
- High willingness to travel globally
- Good command of MS Office
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a global, regional and local team
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
