Sales Manager Next possible start date | Tualatin
 

Your responsibilities:

The Sales Manager will report to the Vice President of Industrial South and will be responsible for providing leadership to the sales group in our West Coast Divsion.  This individual will be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop localized strategies that align with Fuchs‘ North American and Global strategic initiatives.  Further aspects fo the role include:  working across Divsional lines for holistic soluitons to customer needs; carrying out the development of sales representatives with specific focus on account management; developing new business and sales closing techniques; supporting the Vice President with input on strategic account management and divisional customer analysis; and sales P&L responsibilities.

 

Supervisory Responsibility:

  • The position will have 4 direct reports

 

Travel:

  • Approximately 50% within the territory, dependent upon applicants plade of residence.

 

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business required.
  • At least 10 years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required. Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred.
  • A minimum of 3 years‘ experience in a leadership role.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce desired)
  • Demonstrated success in opening new business
  • Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge
  • Ability to travel overnight when needed
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
