Ultrachem Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Fuchs Lubricants Co., located in Wilmington, DE, is a leading premium synthetic lubricants manufacturer specializing in a wide-range of compressor lubricants, vacuum pump oils and other specialty niche synthetic industrial fluid products.  

 

 

Your responsibilities:

The Regional Account Manager will be tasked with achieving agreed sales targets by developing, maintaining and managing accounts throughout the Southeast Region (VA, NC, SC, FL, GA).  They will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Maintaining and enhancing existing client base through periodic visits and relationship building
  • Driving new business generation to meet growth objectives
  • Manage pricing and margins
  • Providing input on strategic account managment and customer analysis for the region 
  • Assisting customers in troubleshooting
  • Monitoring competitors within accounts as to performance and pricing issues
  • Ensuring that all account receivables are in order
  • Presenting a professional image to our clients and prospects

Travel:

  • Approximately 50% within the territory.

 

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Business preferred.
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in industrial consumable products required. Experience in the Lubricants or Chemical industries preferred.
  • Operational knowledge of compressor and pump equipment (i.e. rotary screw, rotary vane, reciprocating compressors, vacuum pumps) preferred.
  • CRM experience. (Salesforce desired)
  • Demonstrated success in opening new business
  • Solid understanding of direct selling concepts along with product and industry knowledge
  • Ability to travel overnight when needed
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Hands on attitude and a hunter's mentality
  • Hydrocarbon and process gas compression experience desired.
