Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager

We are looking for a Sales Engineer - Industry & Specialty business to help the company grow from new and existing clients in the Korean lubricants business based in Seoul.

The Sales Engineer will drive sales and establish professional client relationships in machinery, wind and thermal power generation, cement, glass manufacturing, food processing, automotive, metal forging and casting, and other demanding lubricant applications.

This role will allow YOU to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development : working with local sales & global team in defining new opportunities & projects in key segments of Industry/Specialty Division and following up & coordinating required activities (Basic Metal, Automotive Components, Rotary Motion, Wind, Semiconductor, Aerospace, Food, Packaging, Railway etc
  • Key Account Management : regular customer visits, order taking, shipment arrangement via CSR, accounts receivable management
  • Coordination of all the required technical & sales issues
  • Inventory management, coordinating with CS & purchasing to keep appropriate local stock levels
  • Weekly & monthly sales & projects reporting to the manager
  • Update of the information on the market & competitors’ situation
  • Introduction of new products and technologies to accounts
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of prospects
  • Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers
  • Coordinate with other team members and departments to optimize the sales effort

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or Degree in a suitable business, chemical, or engineering-related field (preferred)
  • 5 years or above of experience, preferably in selling lubricants or related industries, coupled with good sales expertise at a global or chemical / automotive industry (preferred)
  • Knowledge of products & applications  of lubricants (preferred)
  • Positive attitude, Project management, and Stress management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, and a good level of proficiency in MS Office
  • Good team player, self–motivated with the ability to work independently with set tasks and priorities to reach targets
  • Able to travel extensively within assigned territory
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written
