Sales Engineer

We are looking for a Sales Engineer - Industry & Specialty business to help the company grow from new and existing clients in the Korean lubricants business based in Seoul.
The Sales Engineer will drive sales and establish professional client relationships in machinery, wind and thermal power generation, cement, glass manufacturing, food processing, automotive, metal forging and casting, and other demanding lubricant applications.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Lead new business development by collaborating with local and global sales teams to identify and coordinate opportunities and projects in key industry segments, including Basic Metal, Automotive Components, Rotary Motion, Wind, Semiconductor, Aerospace, Food, Packaging, and Railway.

Conduct regular customer visits, manage orders, arrange shipments via Customer Service Representatives, and oversee accounts receivable.

Provide technical assistance by addressing and resolving all technical and sales – related issues.

Provide weekly and monthly sales and project updates to the manager.

Maintain competitive information on price, credit terms, sales volume, market share, and competitive marketing activities.

Develop strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers to maintain a robust pipeline of prospects.

Meet sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements, providing inputs to the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Bachelor’s or Degree in a suitable business, chemical, or engineering-related field (preferred)
- 5 & above of experience selling lubricants or related industries, with strong sales expertise in global or chemical / automotive sectors. In–depth knowledge of lubricant products and applications is preferred.
- Positive attitude with strong project and stress management skills; self–motivated team player capable of working independently to achieve targets.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, proficient in MS Office.
- Proficient in spoken and written English and the local language.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
