Global Key Account Manager - OEM

Your areas of responsibility :
- Develop customer-specific strategies aligned with global and regional business objectives, working closely with global sales, product, and cross-functional teams to drive long-term growth
- Act as the primary point of contact for global OEM accounts, maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers
- Lead and coordinate global commercial activities, including responses to RFPs/RFQs, global pricing policy development, contract negotiations, and sustainability initiatives
- Analyze customer trends and evolving strategies to proactively identify new business opportunities and risks; share insights with internal stakeholders
- Ensure strategic alignment across regions and functions by collaborating with Sales, Product Management, R&D, Legal, and other divisions managing the same accounts
- Oversee global customer-specific requirements (CSRs), regular business reporting, forecasting, and budget planning
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with local OEM customers in coordination with the global OEM team and internal sales teams, focusing on both the Industry and Automotive sectors
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision makers in purchasing, engineering, and other relevant departments within OEM accounts
- Support local OEM-related projects to drive sales growth and profitability, including RFQ processing, cost and pricing evaluation based on market insights, and project coordination
- Provide technical assistance and coordinate successful field trials to validate product performance; conduct technical, marketing, and sales training sessions for both internal staff and customers
- Collaborate with CSR, logistics, purchasing, and technical departments to ensure accurate order intake, inventory control, and on-time delivery
- Monitor and analyze competitive market data—pricing, credit terms, sales volume, market share, and competitor activities—to support effective sales planning and negotiations
- Receive and process customer orders, ensuring alignment across relevant teams for timely fulfillment and delivery
- Support internal sales representatives managing OEM-related accounts in their territories and assist in the introduction of new products and technologies
Qualifications we are looking for :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical is preferred), an additional degree / diploma in Marketing or Business Management will be an added advantage
- 10 & above years of relevant work experience in Automotive industries or in lubricant industries preferred
- Experience to work with major OEM customers in a global environment interacting with stakeholders from different regions
- Strong business development skills, negotiation skills and ability to manage complex projects across global and local levels
- Proficient in spoken and written English and the local language
- Strong General /Project Management and demonstrated Leadership Skills, Good team player, Self – driven and motivated, results – oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit
- Ability to travel extensively within assigned regions
