Regional Category Manager Packaging EMEA (m/w/d)

Your responsibilities:

• You take responsibility for the strategic procurement of packaging materials in the EMEA region
• Develop and implement procurement strategies
• Negotiation of prices and contracts
• Drive cost reduction initiatives based on TCO 
• Provide guidance to the Category Buyers and support them in achieving defined goals
• Create and foster supplier relationships
• Assist the NCM process and support supplier audits
• Define risk management approach, appropriate actions and drive implementation
• Support compliance with legislative and regulatory provisions that apply to the purchased goods
• You actively promote the introduction of sustainable packaging solutions

Qualifications we are looking for:

• You hold a master’s degree in business administration or engineering
• Multiple years of professional experience in sourcing packaging material or in a relevant position within the packaging industry
• You are experienced in working in an international matrix-organization
• Experience in working with SAP R3/BW/SAC desirable
• Good German knowledge and fluent in English
