Head of Global Business Segment Automotive Manufacturing (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Set up and further develop commercial strategy in the business segment Automotive Manufacturing and growing the global business segment's profitably to increase market share
• Create the business strategy and corresponding business plans per country and key accounts in conjunction with other stakeholders
• Define segment specific value propositions for key services and products plan and prioritize product and service road maps together with product management based on customer and market input
• Gather market intelligence and propose global price positioning based on market knowledge and pricing intelligence
• Liaise with Sales, BDM, Marketing, (Global) Product Management, Production and R&D regarding requirements for the segment (new developments, localization, portfolio, etc.)
• Strengthen collaboration with local affiliates and proactively drive the exchange of information and foster cross-functional communication
• Lead a direct report in Business Development as well as indirect reports in Global Key Account Management

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Master’s Degree with a focus on business, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering or similar
• International experience in Business Development in the industrial lubrication market as well as negotiating experience
• Leadership experience with direct and indirect leadership, ideally in an international context
• Encouraged by the idea of actively changing and shaping the work environment
• Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on mentality
• Collaborative personality with excellent communication skills and persuasiveness through different hierarchical levels to balance different interests in global matrix organizations
• Business fluent in Englisch and willingness to travel internationally
