Business Development Manager Glass for the region EMEA

Your Responsibilities:
- Input into market development and product development strategies in conjunction with colleagues
- Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers and attendance at conferences and exhibitions to build relationships with industry partners
- Take the lead in the design of a standard operating procedure and communication to affiliates for the running of product trials
- Support local affiliates with the trialing and application of FUCHS products
- Conduct and develop lubrication training with customers and internal technical training programs
- Identification of market trends and competitor activities together with the Glass team in the region
- Transfer of market-specific knowledge, provide market specific and technical support to the local sales organizations
- Drive the introduction of additional FUCHS services to the glass industry
- Participation in marketing activities to support communication between countries, global networks and various internal functions
Qualifications we are looking for:
- You have successfully completed your studies in Mechanical Engineering or Business
- You have a technical background experience in operations and processes, strong backgroud in the container glass sector as a machine Specialist / Production Manager with a minimum of 10 years’ experience at the hot end of the forming process.
- Technical skills to understand and propose products or solutions by focusing on the client’s requirements and excellent customer service skills
- Strong IT presentation and communication skills
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to multitask
- Very good knowledge of English is required additional languages are desirable
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (Mainly EMEA region, potential to extended globally)
