Application Engineer International Sales - Performance Greases (m/f/d)

Your responsibilities:

• Advise our international customers on technical application matters related to lubricating greases and develop solutions for demanding operating conditions together with them.
• Combine technical expertise with a commercial mindset by analyzing and qualifying customer requirements, creating the technical basis for customized proposals, and laying the foundation for sales success.
• Act as the central interface between international customers, Sales, Product Management, and Production, ensuring a smooth, efficient, and solution-oriented flow of information.
• Manage customer-specific lubricating grease development projects with international customers throughout the entire project lifecycle—from requirements analysis through to successful implementation.
• Develop tailored technical solutions for complex customer requirements and drive resulting lubricant projects in a focused manner within an international environment.
• Create and maintain technical product documentation and share your expertise through practical product training sessions for internal teams, external partners, and customers.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Degree in Process Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a comparable discipline, or alternatively a solid technical qualification (e.g., Master Craftsman or Technician certification).
• Several years of professional experience and a structured, solution-oriented approach to work. Experience in the lubricants, bearings, construction machinery, or mining industries is an advantage.
• Work confidently in an international environment, collaborate effectively in intercultural teams and projects, and be willing to undertake regular international business travel.
• Combine strong technical understanding with business acumen and a keen awareness of customer needs while demonstrating excellent communication skills to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
• Excellent written and spoken English skills; additional language skills (e.g., Russian or Arabic) are considered an asset.
• A strong passion for sharing knowledge, particularly through delivering training programs and facilitating the structured transfer of know-how from FUCHS to customers.
