Your Responsibilities:

The Production Operator performs all essential duties in accordance with the Skills Matrix with particular emphasis on safety, quality, and productivity. Some of the key functions include but are not limited to:

• Wear mandatory PPE at all times.
• Use forklift or pallet jack to retrieve designated packaging items for the batch being pulled.
• Label packaging items in compliance with company and DOT requirements.
• Safely operate equipment to fill packaging items.
• Fill and seal packaging items in compliance with company, DOT and OSHA requirements.
• Must follow standard instructions to measure or weigh chemicals into designated containers.
• Scan packaging items into designated areas and load trucks as necessary.
• Report damaged or missing inventory to supervisors.
• Complete batch ticket and manufacturing log documentation in compliance with company requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and dry work area at all times.
• Complete other duties and special projects upon request.
• Entry level rates starting at $18 an hour, and increase based on experience! 

Qualifications we are looking for:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Chemical, Electrical or Mechanical Technician experience is desired.
• Must be able to read and perform manufacturing work instructions.
• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations.
• Ability to organize and maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Desire and ability to operate sit down forklift (training will be provided)
• Ability to perform basic computer functions in systems such as MS Office, SAP, etc.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50lbs as well as standing and walking for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures from very hot to cold
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
