Senior Credit Controller
Location:
Isando - Johannesburg, ZA, 1600
Your areas of responsibility:
- Maintaining a healthy cash flow by overseeing the timely collection and accurate allocation of outstanding customer receipts.
- Liaise with customers, collaborate with Sales team to resolve customer queries, process new account applications and support business growth.
- Monitor and manage debtor accounts to minimize risk and optimize on time collections.
- Prepare and maintain documents related to debt collection legal matters.
- Stand in for the Credit Control Manager during periods of absence, taking charge of operational activities within the role’s delegation.
- Manage documentation on customer portals.
- Conducting complex account reconciliation.
Qualifications and skills we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Credit management, Finance, Accounting or Business Administration.
- Credit Management Certification (ICM level 5 and above) advantageous.
- A minimum of 5 year’s relevant Credit Control experience.
- SAP knowledge advantageous.
