Research and Development Intern

Your areas of responsibility:

• Testing of finished product samples from the plant as specified on the FUCHS product specification documents.
• Assist in R&D and Technical projects as required.
• Testing of raw-materials, bulk additives and base oils as indicated on FUCHS QC limits specification documents.
• Participate in reformulation of existing formulations when necessary or based on statistical evaluation of test results generated by laboratory personnel.
• Liaison between the lab and factory to plan and coordinate relative activities.
• Assist with investigations of customer complaints and non-conformance issues related to product quality.

Qualifications and skills we are looking for:

• Grade 12 National Senior Certificate.
• National Diploma or BSc in Analytical Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or studying towards completing the qualification.
