QC Manager
Location:
Isando - Johannesburg, ZA, 1600
Your areas of responsibility:
- Lead and manage the QC laboratory team, ensuring high performance and adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Oversee the testing of raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards, internal specifications, and customer requirements.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Develop and implement SOPs, quality protocols, and corrective actions.
- Collaborate with R&D, Production, and Supply Chain teams to resolve quality issues.
- Prepare and present quality reports, trend analyses, and audit findings.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the lab.
Qualifications and skills we are looking for:
- Degree or Diploma in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Analytical Chemistry.
- Minimum 8 years’ experience in QC or R&D laboratory management.
- Experience in oil lubricants manufacturing and testing.
- Proven track record in Analytical method development.
- Strong teamwork and customer focus.
