Maintenance Manager

Your areas of responsibility:

• Developing and implementing maintenance strategies such as preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and operational disruptions.
• Driving LEAN and PM activities with the Maintenance team, including Kaizens.
• Leading maintenance projects with responsibility for maintenance related Capex.
• Budgeting and resource management - optimize maintenance costs while maintaining high standards.
• Leading and supervising the maintenance team, including employee development.
• Conducting inspections and audits of machinery and facilities to identify potential issues and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborating with other departments such as Production, Quality Assurance, and Health & Safety to ensure smooth operations and minimize downtime.
• Responding to emergencies such as equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting issues, and implementing corrective actions promptly.

Qualifications and Skills we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 10 years’ experience in maintenance with at least 3 to 5 years in management.
• Government Certificate of Competency for Mechanical and Electrical Engineers.
• Technical report writing will be an advantage, good knowledge of HSE and Government Regulations required.
• Proficient in computerised maintenance management systems.
