Application Engineering Intern

Your areas of responsibility:

• Learn about lubricant products, applications, handling, storage and good lubrication practices through coaching, training and practical exposure.
• Accompany Application Engineers and Sales representatives on selected customer visits, lubrication surveys, inspections and technical meetings.
• Assist with gathering and recording information on equipment, operating conditions, maintenance practices and lubricant performance.
• Support the preparation and monitoring of field trials, product demonstrations and application evaluations under supervision.
• Help compile customer visit notes, technical data, trial records, reports and presentations using approved templates.
• Assist the team with basic data analysis, oil-analysis information, product comparisons and technical research.
• Maintain accurate records, complete assigned learning activities and provide progress updates to the supervising team member.

Qualifications and Skills we are looking for:

• A completed diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering or another relevant technical discipline.
• A genuine interest in application engineering, lubricants, manufacturing and industrial customer environments.
• Foundational analytical, numerical and problem-solving ability, with a willingness to ask questions and learn.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work respectfully with others.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
