Supply Chain Planner Next possible start date | Harvey
 

Your responsibilities:

The Supply Planner works out of our corporate office in Harvey, IL and reports to the Supply Chain Director. This indvidual will be responsible for successfully leading and communicating supply plan to production to achieve customer orders and/or stocking requirements Specific responsibilities will include, but are not limited too:

  • Review and analyze current open demand against demand plan (forecast) to create supply/production plan
  • Suppy/production plan developed by utilizing material leadtimes, stocking strategy requirements, production capability and requirements
  • Co-Chairs the supply planning meeting
  • Speaks to the inventory detail in the supply planning meeting.
  • Updates the inventory plan monthly – Utilizing a rolling 12+ month supply plan.
  • Key metric responsible for tracking and reporting; supply plan vs. actual performance, significant gaps identified and lead corrective action
  • Primary contact for issues related to orders, inventory, and the supply planning process.

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or another related supply chain field.
  • 2+ years of experience working in a production planning, inventory, or supply chain role required.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Excel with excellent quantitative and data analysis skills.
  • Team and people oriented, professional and displays a “can-do“ attitude.
  • ERP planning experience required, SAP preferred
