Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $220k - $240k per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
The Senior Finance Director will lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, analysis, reporting, and treasury operations for the Americas region. Serving as a key strategic partner to the executive team, this role will deliver insights that drive informed decision-making, operational efficiency, and profitable growth. The position reports to the Vice President of Accounting and Finance.
Budgeting and Forecasting
- Lead long-term, annual, and mid-year forecasting processes for all financial statements and key KPIs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to develop accurate, actionable financial plans.
- Assess risks and opportunities to ensure the achievement of business objectives.
Analysis & Reporting
- Develop and deliver monthly and quarterly financial reports, dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations based on performance trends and in-depth data analysis.
- Support profitability improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
Treasury
- Oversee treasury operations, including banking relationships and cash flow forecasting.
- Lead Net Working Capital forecasting, analysis, and process enhancements.
Corporate Expenses and Headcount
- Partner with functional leaders to optimize expense allocation and budget utilization.
- Collaborate with HR on headcount planning, tracking, and reporting.
M&A
- Conduct financial modeling, due diligence, and scenario analysis to support M&A opportunities.
- Provide strategic recommendations to inform investment decisions.
Strategic & Operational Support
- Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic initiatives and business decisions.
- Drive process improvements and automation to enhance efficiency.
- Play a leadership role in major projects, including the global ERP upgrade to SAP S/4HANA.
Leadership & Development

- Align departmental goals with company strategy, mentoring team members and fostering professional growth.
- Communicate financial results effectively to stakeholders and influence decisions across the organization.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field required; CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred.
- Experience:
- 10+ years of progressively responsible finance experience in a major company or division of a large corporation.
- Minimum 5 years of proven leadership experience.
- Manufacturing industry experience strongly preferred.
- Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP ECC and SAP S/4HANA preferred).
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and related accounting standards.
- Knowledge of automation trends and digital transformation in finance.
- Leadership Skills: Resilient, emotionally intelligent, change-oriented, and capable of building trust and driving organizational improvement.
