Sales Operations Coordinator, OEM Next possible start date | Harvey

Your Responsibilities:

The SAF Sales Operations Coordinator reports to the VP Sales of OEM and will play a vital role within Fuchs‘ OEM division. This position will be responsible for coordinating a set of important activities (ie, supply chain, order management) in order to properly manage several of the OEM division‘s most important and strategic accounts.    This is an exciting role as you get to work with several of the world’s most important global OEM and Tier 1 suppliers and play


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:,

  • Managing a portfolio of customers in our Shock Absorber Segment
  • Act as the liaison between FUCHS supply chain (ie, Purchasing, Plants,) Customer Service, Outside Sales and Customer.
  • Enhance existing and build on customer base through relationship development.
  • Communicate with customers, carriers, manager, and team members.
  • Understand needs of the existing customer base (national and international)
  • Provide reporting as requested by the customer, managing customers’ inventories
  • Interface between sales and operations to manage shipment of products from place of origin to point of delivery across several products and supply sites for multiple customers throughout the world.
  • Ensure compliance with international (import-export) and local regulations for all shipping and handling requirements.
  • Manage inventories, storage sites, and supply chain partners.
  • Interface with Finance and Accounting to ensure accurate invoicing and accounting of revenues and logistics expenses.
  • Refine and implement the work process that allows FUCHS to successfully deliver product that meet customer expectations.  In an effort to continually improve the current processes, define the product flows and information flows, being in contact with operations, quality, OEM sales, accounting and other departments.
  • Develop solid relationships with clients by providing them with excellent customer service.
  • Manage the movement of the client’s goods, ensuring that they are picked up, transported and delivered on time to the client’s satisfaction.



Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Associates degree in business or related field required. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • 3+ years‘ experience in a sales support, operations support, or logistics support role required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Sales savvy including the ability to work with, identify, and meet customer needs.
  • Have exceptional organizational and attention to detail traits, allowing them to handle multiple projects and tasks at any given time.
  • Computer proficiency to include Microsoft Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
