Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
The Production Scheduler while reporting to the Plant Manager will perform all essential functions of production scheduling process, plan-ning methods including but not limited to:
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adherence to schedules and meet customer expectations.
- Regularly review, analyze, and adjust the production schedule to prevent delays and maintain adherence.
- Verify and order raw materials from the warehouse to ensure timely batch production.
- Review multiple plant schedules with leadership to ensure timely completion and report to supply chain departments.
- Lead daily production schedule meetings with various departments to review and collaborate on current needs.
- Serve as the main contact for operations regarding the status of batches on the production schedule.
- Communicate with various teams when batches are on hold and interact with departments such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, QC, and Sales to support schedule adherence.
- Develop and plan and confirm inbound and outbound tank truck and rail schedules, confirming shipment dates and times.
- Write and maintain updated Production Scheduling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Perform Site Cycle Count Processes.
- Perform other functions as needed to ensure operational excellence and other duties as assigned by the leadership team.
Qualifications we are looking for:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Business Administration Degree is a plus.
- 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred; 2+ years of operations scheduling experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work closely with other departments, strong troubleshooting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/SAP systems required.
