Materials Manager Next possible start date | Harvey

Your responsibilities:

The Materials Manager reports to our Supply Chain Director and will be responsible for providing analytical support and communication to various departments as it relates to purchased goods. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Supply chain management of purchased materials for multiple manufacturing sites and warehouses; includes domestic and international sourcing
  • Placing and management of purchase orders to ensure appropriate RoC to meet customer and Fuchs expectations.
  • PO reconciliation
  • Lead and manage team metrics to capture success and opportunities for improvement.
  • KPI data gathering and reporting, ie: vendor OTD (on-time delvery)
  • Lead and collaborate with multiple teams within the O2C (order-to-cash) to support supply continuity


Supervisory responsibility:

  • Managing the expediting team of three direct reports



Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor of Science in Business, Finance or Accounting.
  • 3 years of supply chain experience in a distribution or manufacturing facility.
  • Prior leadership experience desired.
  • Experience collecting and analyzing data, and making decisions in a business environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication with a high degree of problem solving skills. 
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Teamwork, collaboration, self-motivation essential.
  • 2 years of SAP experience preferred.
