Your areas of responsibility:

• The Logistics Manager plays a vital role in the supply chain team by providing strategic leadership and continuous improvement of the processes for ensuring on-time delivery to our customers. Key functions include:
• Champion the design and implementation of an optimized multiple-site distribution network.
• Develop and rollout consistent processes among warehouses; with a focus on on-time delivery, quality, inventory, and distribution spend
• Ability to establish relationships with all levels of an organization, while gaining and maintaining credibility.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business is preferred. 
• 5+ years of experience in similar role.
• Broad experience across multiple modes of transportation (truckload, LTL, Intermodal/Rail) in inbound and outbound operations, third party transportation.
• Experience overseeing inventory management, delivery/logistics, regulatory compliance, productivity improvement, planning and organization. Familiar with concept of standardized goals & metrics, measurement of quantifiable KPIs.
• People leadership skills – recruit, mentor, develop and retain talent. 3-5 years of experience in a leadership role.
• 5+ years of experience in terminal routing transportation and demonstrated ability to minimize freight costs through lane analysis and configuration. Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, best practices, and procedures. 
• Extensive familiarity with TMS & WMS (SAP preferred) systems.
• Experience with hazardous material and working knowledge of DOT/IATA guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to travel 10-20%.
