Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $105,000 - $130,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
The Accounting Manager reports to the Corporate Controller and will oversee the accounting and accounts payable functions of FUCHS’ U.S. operating companies:
Operational responsibilities:
- Conducts comprehensive financial analysis and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Manages team of financial accountants as well as accounts payable specialists
- Leads month-end and year-end close processes, including the preparation of financial statements and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepares monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidations of Fuchs’ North American entities in compliance with the relevant accounting standards.
- Prepares and reviews interoffice financials ensuring, accurate disclosure to group accounting.
- Assists in the development and reporting of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, providing financial insight and analysis to support business decisions.
- Identifies and resolves accounting discrepancies and irregularities promptly.
- Continuously evaluates and improves accounting and accounts payable systems and procedures for greater efficiency.

Qualifications we are looking for:
- A Bachelor's degree in accounting is required; CPA, CMA, or MBA strongly preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
- The ability to manage tight deadlines and multiple financial projects with a detail-oriented approach.
- Flexibility in schedule to accommodate key deadlines.
- Strong understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and Consolidation accounting principles that dictate acceptable accounting practices.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel functions and experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP. S/4 Hana and Power BI experience highly desired.
