Salary:

FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $90,000 - $110,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. 

Your Responsibilities:

FUCHS Specialty Division is seeking a Field Service Engineer to bring added value services to our Sales Engineers in the field. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Performing Engineering Surveys to help determine lubrication solutions that will benefit the customers.
• Perform lubricant surveys and provide recommendations on consolidation of lubricants to sales engineers and custom-ers. 
• Performing predictive maintenance activities like temperature readings, vibration analysis, and oil analysis
• Performing where needed a detailed Lubrication Audits that will give customers an idea on how they comply with the Food Safety Modernization Act and what actions may be needed to comply with this law.
• Working with the local Sales Engineer to construct customer proposals showing proposed benefits based on their actual conditions, including 5s implementation.
• Assisting in the implementation of lubrication programs with various customers.
• Developing Performance Documentation (Case Studies) to show the benefits we provide to customers.

Travel:

• 60-80% national travel required.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Bachelors degree in a technical field desired. (Chemistry, Engineering, etc.)
• 5+ years experience in maintenance in the food/beverage, cement industry desired.
• Condition monitoring experience preferred.
• Ability to write a solid technical report to be presented to the customer.
• Ability to travel frequently on short notice.
• Excellent attention to detail.
