We have ambitious goals ahead of us, and in that context, we are looking for a Digital Solutions Engineering Manager to help drive change across our teams and help us scale a Digital Solutions team. We expect you to bring significant technical experience to help build our future team. Not only will you lead projects in complete autonomy, but you will also be accountable for planning ahead, and thinking in terms of what’s best globally for the company rather than locally for your projects. This also means you are expected to ramp up on multiple projects and orchestrate changes across projects and teams whenever necessary. As a Digital Solutions Engineering Manager, you are also expected to be a technical leader, sharing your knowledge, helping engineers grow.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and lead the enterprise-wide digital engineering in support of digital applications and APIs.
  • Work with Project/Product Management and Business Analysts, manage scoping, sizing, planning, development, implementation, and support for projects within the Digital portfolio
  • Lead, mentor, advise, and grow your team to ensure the deployment and sustainment of robust products that meet customer expectations
  • Act as a change agent and develop a digital culture and mindset for how we approach work
  • Specific engineering responsibilities to include:
    • Design, develop and integrate RESTful API services / microservices
    • Manage, maintain and govern engineering standards around security, secure-coding, logging, alerting, build, deployment, integration, containerization and orchestrations.
    • Manage and maintain the technical / solution documentation including architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, deployment diagrams and production runbooks.
    • In collaboration with Product Development/Business Owners and Design teams, responsible for helping define UX journeys, personas and widgets / utilities supporting the engineering frameworks.

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • 5+ years in an Engineering lead role scaling engineering teams in building highly transactional web, API and customer facing applications and platforms
  • 3+ years of experience cloud native development (Azure App Service, AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, API Gateway, Microsoft Power Platform)
  • Experience managing work within a DevOps environment, including Builds, CI/CD Pipelines, Version Control, etc.
  • Experience defining product and technology roadmaps and establishing an execution plan for digital products and platforms.
  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, and MS Office (or equivalent digital project management tools)
  • Experience with Industrial IoT platform and cybersecurity
