Customer Solutions Specialist II Next possible start date | Harvey
 

Your responsibilities:

The Customer Solutions Specialist will support the sales team by handling the entire order-to-cash process. This is a fast-paced position where agility and time management is critical. This includes taking incoming calls from our customers, sales force, and warehouse/manufacturing staff; processing orders, researching and resolving customer complaints and inquiries; communicating pricing variances with customers and sales force; working as a liaison for purchasing, manufacturing and sales force; communicating order status to customers and sales force. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Assists in setting up new customer accounts
  • Sets up and maintaining customer master data
  • Handles pricing administration and item proposals
  • Communicates pricing variances to customers and sales team
  • Builds and maintaining strong relationships with the regional sales force
  • Processes return authorizations & requests for credit

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • A BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of customer service experience in an industrial/ manufacturing environment required
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (formulas, manipulation of data, formatting)
  • Strong communication skills with a high degree of problem-solving ability
  • Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities 
  • Teamwork, collaboration, and self-motivation
  • Demonstrated agility and willingness to embrace change
  • Possess a “can do” attitude with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve with minimal direction
  • High degree of time-management ability
  • A positive attitude and passion for customer service
  • The ability to make decisions and take ownership to service the customer
  • Displays a sense of urgency and works well under pressure
  • ERP experience required. SAP is highly desired, but knowledge of AS400, JD Edwards, or Great Plains or other ERP system will also be considered
  • Export experience desired
