Your responsibilities:

  • Assist Manager of Quality Systems with all matters relating to implementation of quality systems as well as maintaining current quality systems.
  • Support management activities and policies to help reduce the Cost of Poor Quality.
  • Assist Manager of Quality Systems to assist with departmental and organizational documentation and tracking. Including updates on MS SharePoint.
  • Lead or participate in Quality investigations into on-site or supply side issues.
  • Work with process engineering / R&D /  In Process Quality to identify areas of improvement.
  • Participate in and coordinate quality and process improvement projects or programs as needed.
  • Effectively communicate with other departments.
  • Responsible for maintaining CAPA system. Assign CAPAs and assist with timely Investigations. Lead high priority Investigations as needed.
  • Work with HR to assist with training systems and training records.
  • Coordinate Departmental Training Matrix. Update when needed. Responsible for the preparation of training materials for different              departments aimed at perfection in quality standards.
  • Assist Manager with the development and implementation of the Internal and Supplier audit schedule.
  • Perform internal and supplier audits as assigned.
  • Assist Manager with the coordination and hosting of External auditors (i.e. ISO & Customer), including coordination with internal process owners.
  • Gather and track Quality KPIs.
  • Gather and prepare Management Review documentation. Assist Manager with scheduling the MR.
  • Complete and submit automotive Production Part Approval (PPAP) documentation.

 

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Science or Engineering
  • 5+ years’ experience manufacturing environment, preferably in lubricant or chemical manufacturing, filtration, testing and technical business operations or equivalent industrial supervisory experience.
  • ISO experience required; IATF16949, ISO 1345, and/ or AS9100D systems experience a plus
  • ASQ certifications preferred (CQA/ CQM/ CQE)
