Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $57,000 - $62,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as inter-nal equity. 
 

 

Your areas of responsibility:

The Label Specilaist will be an integral part in the local production processes by checking for accuracy of label designs, content, and regulatory information for the packaging teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:

  • Designs and creates product labels that comply with company branding standards in coordiantion with Marketing.
  • Ensures and confirms compliance with all industry and regulatory requirements in coordiantion with Product Stewardship.
  • Coordaintes the packaging approval process for Purchasing and/or internal operations.
  • Ensures existing templates for labels and folders are compatible with label software and hardware used at the facility.
  • Develops and updates all packaging folders.
  • Coordinates label review and approval with product management leads
  • Develops and documents Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Work Instructions (WI’s), and Visual Work Instructions (VWI’s).
  • Manages label and packaging inventory for label stock with procurement
  • Performs artwork proof-reading and aesthetic checks for all requirements
  • Maintains accurate records of all labeling documentation, including version control and approval records.
  • Works with product management on customer specifications and private label requirements 

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Associate degree in Graphic Design or 3-5 years of equivalent print / design experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop & MS Office
  • Working knowledge of common label software (i.e. Nice Label, Online Label or Loftware)
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to work autonomously with strong follow-through on tasks as required
  • Able to proactively analyze issues and provide recommendations for resolution
  • Be detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy
  • Able to follow-up / follow through without having to be reminded
