Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $72,000 – 76,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. 
 

Your areas of responsibility:

• Support compliance for international shipments, including import/export classification and valuation.
• Ensure adherence to all applicable import/export control laws and regulations.
• Support labeling design and requirements to ensure global trade compliance.
• Stay informed about global trade regulations and advise the organization as the Subject Matter Expert.
• Develop and implement strategies to ensure trade compliance, minimize disruptions, and reduce costs.
• Establish, document, and maintain business processes and metrics for international logistics, focusing on importing, exporting, and shipping.
• Drive improvement projects and align with stakeholders to enhance processes.
• Create standard operating procedures and work instructions.
• Provide training to warehouse staff and other team members on compliance-related duties.
• Ensure warehouse practices align with compliance requirements.
• Manage and respond to trade compliance inquiries.
• Provide clear, precise, and professional communication to internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform periodic assessments to ensure process compliance and audit readiness.
   

Qualifications we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Science, Compliance) prefered.
• 3+ years experience in trade compliance (import/export), preferably in chemical product supply chains or logistics.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., HAZMAT, Certified Export Specialist (CES), Export Compliance Professional (ECoP)) are a plus.
• In-depth knowledge of global trade regulations, including
• Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office products.
• Familiarity with Management Systems (e.g., QMS, EMS) is a plus.
