About the Role
This position is responsible for driving profitable growth through a consultative, value-selling approach focused on manufacturing and industrial customers. The successful candidate will develop new business opportunities, grow existing accounts, and execute segment-focused growth strategies within Automotive Manufacturing, Basic Metals, and other Industrial & Specialty markets.
This is not a traditional product-selling role. Success comes from understanding customer manufacturing processes and identifying opportunities to improve productivity, quality, reliability, and total cost of ownership through FUCHS lubrication solutions.
Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is up to $100,000 to $130,000, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales and margin growth within assigned Industrial & Specialty accounts
- Develop new business opportunities and convert competitive business
- Build relationships with production, maintenance, reliability, engineering, and purchasing stakeholders
- Manage and grow a healthy sales pipeline
- Execute business plans developed by Segment and Sales Leadership
- Collaborate with Business Segment Managers, Key Account Managers, and Application Engineers
- Present and deliver value-based solutions that improve customer performance and profitability
Preferred Industry Experience
Experience in one or more of the following areas is highly desirable:
- Metalworking fluids
- Metal forming lubricants
- Industrial cleaners
- Industrial and specialty greases
- Industrial lubrication programs
- Steel, aluminum, stamping, forging, or fabrication operations
- Maintenance, reliability, or industrial process improvement
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of industrial B2B sales experience
- Proven success in business development and account growth
- Strong consultative and value-selling skills
- Ability to communicate technical solutions to manufacturing customers
- Strong territory and account management capabilities
- Self-motivated with a growth mindset
- Ability to travel throughout the GTA and surrounding manufacturing regions
