Your areas of responsibility:

The Production Operator, located in our Cambridge, ON facility, will be responsible for:

• Weighing raw materials into mixing tanks.
• Performing hands-on execution of manual blending/filling operations.
• Transferring finished products from mixing tank into the proper shipping containers.
• Preparing packing materials for filling.
• Performing basic packaging inspection to eliminate chance of product contamination.
• Filling and packaging drums, pails, and bulk totes from bulk storage tanks or production kettles.
• Transporting materials to and from warehouse and blending areas using a forklift.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Warehouse and manufacturing hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm.
• All positions may require some overtime when necessary.
• Pay Rate: $22-$26 an hour.
   

Qualifications we are looking for:

• The successful candidate will possess:
• A high school education or equivalent.
• 2+ years of manufacturing/ warehouse experience.
• Forklift training is preferred, but other industrial equipment operating experience will be considered.
• Ability to read and perform manufacturing work instructions.
• Ability to complete basic mathematical functions.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
