Salary:


FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $110,000 CAD per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. 

 

You areas of responsibility:

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Act as the liaison between Finance teams and Group Controlling and Accounting FUCHS Corp.
  • Prepare, analyze and release the monthly profit and loss reports for the region.
  • Prepare, analyze and release of quarterly balance sheets and net operating working capital reports for the region.
  • Reconcile and report on all intercompany transactions and balance sheet positions for the region.
  • Prepare and review of monthly cashflow.
  • Prepare and review monthly business reviews for FUCHS Canada Leadership. 
  • Provide support in the preparation and submission of budget and forecast files and templates.
  • Facilitate/coordinate changes to local reporting systems to adhere to global reporting requirements.
  • Support and recommend continuous improvement opportunities working in close collaboration with FUCHS Corp.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications we are looking for:

 

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting from an accredited university. 
  • Deep understanding of IFRS/US-GAAP.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Must have a flexible schedule to accommodate monthly, quarterly and annual deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication as well as natural leadership skills.
  • Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.

 

Preferred:

  • S4/HANA experience strongly preferred.
  • CPA or equivalent strongly preferred.
  • 5 + years accounting experience with responsibilities similar to those listed above.
  • Accounting experience in a manufacturing organization, with international subsidiaries
