Pay Range: 
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. 

Your Responsibilities:

As a member of the FUCHS Smart Services (FSS) team, you will be part of a driven community focused on providing our customers with world-class solutions that help push our customers forward. As a Field Service Technician, you will be supporting the Smart Services and Sales teams in performing routine service maintenance at customers locations, performing application assessments for service and product solutions, and the execution of field trials and services at new or existing customers. Specific responsibilities will include:

• Routine maintenance at existing customers
• Pulling samples from existing systems & submitting to the laboratory
• On-site lab testing of systems
• Completion of technical service requests, service reports, and log sheets
• Operating, maintaining, & installing filtration equipment
• Operate equipment for system cleanouts & recharge
• Trouble shooting of problems at existing customers
• Evaluating the conditions of products in the system
• Investigating the customer's equipment as it relates to product performance
• Execution of field trials at new or existing customers
• Trial preparation to include cleaning of systems, ensuring proper supplies are preordered and available, etc.
• Installation and monitoring of trial materials
• Ensuring trial parameters are controlled and documented
• Collection of pertinent data during the trial and writing trial reports
• Travel throughout the Northeast Arkansas & Western Tennessee territory. (Approx.3-4 days overnight per month.)

Qualifications we are looking for:

• The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor‘s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent work experience demonstrating a high aptitude of mechanical ability.
• 3+ Years experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Strong verbal and written communication with a high degree of problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to travel on short notice and handle unanticipated situations.
• Teamwork, collaboration, and self-motivation are essential.
