Business Development Manager, Industry, Key Account Management

In this position you report to Division Manager (Industry).

 

Your areas of responsibility:
 

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities for high – performance lubricants (Metalworking Fluids, Rust Preventives, Oils & Greases) through strategic planning and market analysis in assigned segments.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors to expand the customer base and ensure long – term partnerships.
  • Provide technical expertise and arrange successful field trials to demonstrate product performance and benefits to customers.
  • Deliver sales, marketing, and technical training to support the establishment and promotion of product performance, ensuring customers and distributors are well – informed.
  • Gather and analyze competitive information on pricing, credit terms, sales volume, market share, and marketing activities to support successful negotiations with customers and distributors.
  • Coordinate order processing by liaising with technical, commercial, and logistics departments to ensure timely receipt, processing, and delivery of orders from customers and distributors.
  • Achieve financial objectives by forecasting requirements, contributing to the annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements by maintaining up – to – date paperwork and issuing appropriate and legal contracts to distributors. Monitor and measure distributor performance against terms and conditions. 

 

Qualifications we are looking for:
 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical / Chemical / Industrial is preferred).
  • 6 & above years of experience preferably in selling high – end lubricants, machine tools or chemicals.
  • Experience in Distributor Management with ability to motivate and manage distributor’s sales team.
  • Proficient in spoken and written English and the local language.
  • Self – driven and motivated, results – oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business profit.
  • Ability to travel extensively within assigned regions.
