An exciting career opportunity exists for a highly motivated person to fill the role of National Key Account Manager - OEM / Genuine Brands, NZ with FUCHS Lubricants (New Zealand) Ltd. This NZ home based role will report directly to the Regional Sales Manager Australasia & ISEA - OEM Genuine Brands.


As National Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and developing relationships with our key accounts in the OEM / Genuine Brands Segment. You will be responsible for achieving sales targets, developing and implementing account plans, and managing promotional activities.

Your areas of responsibility:

  • Driving and achieving specific sales goals by managing the business relationship of strategic accounts for our OEM / Genuine Brands Division.
  • Utilising all resources to maximise revenue, sales growth, market share and productivity gains, and maintaining the portfolio of solutions and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with key customer executives to gain a broad understanding of their business goals and strategies, both short and long term, sell product supported by FLA and builds relationships with key decision-makers within selected companies to facilitate direct and indirect sales.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain account management planning processes and business review processes within each assigned account on a regular basis.
  • Provide input into the company's strategic direction to meet the needs to assigned companies.
  • Provide field support & specialist technical service for customers.
  • Actively target new dealer accounts and business opportunities within the OEM/Genuine Brands segment.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to management on account performance, market trends, sales activity, budget and expenses.
  • Monitor and maintain quality standards, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Continuously assess and improve processed to ensure optimal efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop new products and services to meet customer needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding promptly to inquiries, and addressing any concerns or complaints.

Qualifications we are looking for:

  • Industrial and Automotive industry experience.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent: Bachelors preferred but not required.
  • 10+ years sales experience.
  • Financial acumen.
  • Strong computer, analytical and Excel skills.
  • Marketing experience.
  • Needs to be highly motivated and a self-starter and be a great communicator.
  • Strong track record of success in sales and large key account management.
  • Technological understanding and ability to see solutions are critical.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 1 week a month within Australia and New Zealand.
